Hailing from Marseille, Angles Morts prepare to make waves in the growing the French electronic-jazz scene. A + D EP is a delicious record issued by the Strasbourg-based imprint Dope Tones Records, completed by high class remixes by Pablo Valentino and Attica One. The inception of Angles Morts took place in the summer of 2020 when four talented musicians - Raph, Sam, Paul, and Jeremie - decided to blend the magnetic sounds of 70s jazz fusion with the British electronic music of the early 2000s.
A + D is the result of this proficous collaboration, having caught the attention of the magnificent taste of Dope Tones Records. There’s a bold energy to the title-track that is both cinematic and very much ‘live’. Building on the foundation of the original track Pablo Valentino crafted a masterful deep house remix, perfectly tailored for the dancefloor, while Attica One present a pure bruk affair, delivering a captivating interpretation of the single.
