arnheim: the journey is the place to be

Based in London, Lithuanian producer Arnheim has been delivering a very own brand of jazz-influenced electronic music. Following the impressive Machine & Horns, that came out on ANMA Records last year, and many other records on his Barbara Recordings label, he presents The Journey Is The Place To Be on Roots Underground.

The Journey Is The Place To Be is a five-track EP inspired by the spacetime continuum of the cosmos, providing a relaxed and deep sonic experience. Comprised by a sublime mixture of house music with Detroit’s jazz & soul influences, the EP reminisces on textures introduced by, above all, Theo Parrish/Rotating Assembly’s output. On the cover we see Amber stones… considered the healing stone with the power to transform all negative energy into positive energy. A reference to Arnheim’s music as being able to do the same. Via Roots Underground this record is available on vinyl and is a ‘must’ for the house music heads looking for something unconventional.
