From South London we welcome again one of our favorite producers - Ben Hauke. With a new release with Far Out Recordings, he takes a sonic excursion to South America for a new seven track project, influenced by Afro-Latin percussion, and samples of obscure Brazilian, Cuban and Colombian records. Only Old stays true to Ben’s distinctly London identity, with a record that fluctuates between house, broken beat, underground jazz and instrumental hip-hop. 

Having worked with jazz musicians like Joe Armon Jones and Nubya Garcia, Ben Hauke has been able to sculpt a vivid yet wide-open sound on this one, creating an instrumentation that flows on its own through the speakers. The ambient in the room is light and rhythmically fresh. Only Old is blessed with richness on its soundwaves.
