In Emancipação, Strausz presents an undeniably unique sound, equally fitting jazz and MPB collections of many aficionados all over the world. The compositions are on point, feeling fresh and timeless. Both are heavily influenced by the classic bossa nova and samba repertoires of his native Brazil, yet translated through a modern production lens, and executed with exceptional musicianship.
