hidden spheres ft. oscar jerome: words can't explain

See this content in the original post

Hidden Spheres’s trademark blend of house and jazz music has been celebrated in the past few years, cementing him as one of most innovative producers out there. Releasing across the likes of Lobster Theremin, Rhythm Section International and his own label Fruit Merchant - all of which have been the perfect outlets for his sonic approach -, Church features his latest EP. Words Can’t Explain is the result of a fruitful collaboration with the guitar, voice and touch of Oscar Jerome, and the continuation of both artists stellar discography.

While the original mix of the title track lowers you into slick jazz guitar licks, echoing vocals and a deep groove around the mesmerizing melody, the instrumental version opens up space for some elements to take a central stage. The arrangement is, in fact, fantastic. The B-side brings us Yu Su, reinventing the song with her soothing touch and laid-back flair on an addicting percussion trip. The lights get dim and the EP closes in style. The hybrid creation of jazz-meets-house binds perfectly as warm keys hang effortlessly in the air and popping guitar lines carry you onwards. Vinyl edition is available on this one.
