Hailing from Amsterdam, Jelee is a self-taught producer that came to our attention a few months ago, upon release of his debut LP, Soil. The interesting musical approach, influenced by gaming soundtracks and a diversity of genres from electronica, house, or instrumental hip hop, plus the unveil of “Warmth Is Around Us” was an instant trigger for us to write down the date of release of Downloadable Culture, curated by Wicked Wax.

Downloadable Culture features four previously unreleased tracks, from the same production period as Soil, Jelee's debut album. Diving deeper into deep house textures, with a cool touch of jazz texture, this EP unveils a promising producer exploring grooves of the highest-karat-gold, while still having the bleeps, bloops and textures that can be found in his previous works.
