Earth State is the result of various visits of K15 to SMBD’s studio over the last few years. Both of them have been important names in the electronic music scene hailing from the UK, both connecting over similar soulful tastes for their productions. K15 has been making music for more than ten years and releasing it for just over half that. Simbad's (a.k.a. SMBD) work has built him a solid reputation worldwide, making him a very sought after producer & a busy DJ. On the studio, they delved deep in conversation, as well as into an arsenal of analog gear.

Pulling us into a balanced state of mind, Earth State reveals the musical maturity of the two individuals. Broken beat rhythms blend with ambiance moments, jazz-electronic waves and deep house feelings. Released by Apron Records - that compelled K15 & SMBD to share these works - the album is a brilliant collection of raw grooves.
