KeepVibesNear comes up with his own noir brand of r&b in the new, and anticipated, Now That We Know. EP. With a 90s r&b vibe in the instrumentals, KeepVibesNear’s delivery owes more to the likes of King Krule than to D’Angelo, producing an original blend of different textures. As a sequel to his early endeavor When Will We Realise?, the new project represents a reflection of self, with the protagonist taking in a lot of the emotions he wasn’t admitting to himself and embarking on a journey of finding that in his interior and within others too.

With romance and relationships at the heart of his lyrical content, KeepVibesNear uses passion, depth & imagery to explore the ups and downs of love and the vulnerability of growing up as a man who isn’t necessarily in touch with those feelings. The stripped-back, raw quality of Now That We Know. and the reflective nature of its lyricism creates a warm and pensive type of sound. Working in close partnership with Harvey Whyte, KeepVibesNear presents a record that portrays a special moment in his journey, showcasing a style that doesn't fit into the usual boxes. And that’s always great… Now That We Know. is available on Bandcamp, via Melting Pot Music.
