Alex Leyfa’s (Lay-Far) records have been spinnin’ around here for a while. Hailing from Moscow he has been active for about 10 years having released through some of our favorite labels, such as Razor-N-Tape, Local Talk, Eureka!, City Fly or High Praise. Now he partners up with Marcel Vogel’s Lumberjacks In Hell to release a 4-track bomb entitled Same As It Never Was, showcasing his instincts for fluttering breakbeats and headsy house music.

Smooth delights, soulful samples, wild broken beat textures and groovy house moments compose Same As It Never Was. Lay-Far became one of the finest souls in the dance music scene and this EP on Lumberjacks In Hell is another chapter in his already prolific discography. Same As It Never Was is available in vinyl. We just can’t stop bouncing to this!
