Lev Dyskin (a.k.a. Leiba) is an up and coming Russian producer (watch out for the Russian quality in house music producing recently), presenting a strong EP via the one and only Ltd. W/Lbl. UNLIMITED004 is a smooth 4-tracker heavily based on jazz & disco samples, as per usual in the german-based label catalog. Showcasing a great sensibility for jackin’ jazz-house productions, Leiba kicks off his producing career in style.

The A-side blends uplifting textures, first with the disco-infused “Unforgettable Day”, followed by the snapping rhythms of “ Take it Home”. Flipping the record, we move into more sophisticated productions. “Talk About Acid” is a mysterious, jazz-room textured cut, while “International Language” finishes the EP with an homage to bebop ideas, as the night unfolds. UNLIMITED004 is an introduction to Leiba’s work that leaves us craving for more. Available via Bandcamp.
