Paying due homages to Liverpool’s energy, moon presents his long-awaited debut Southside Park EP - a much-needed exploration into the modern day sound of a city, with an important nod to an all too often overlooked past. Also marking the first record from the London-based One Glove label, this is our introduction to the genuine rawness in moon’s productions, crossing back and forth in the boundaries between bruk, house, hip hop, garage and jungle, with essential streaks of adlibs, samples and vocals from old and new voices. All of this reflecting the grit and soul of inner-city Liverpool.

Born and bred in the south of the city, moon forms an integral part of Liverpool's ever-growing musical underground, alongside the likes of NuTribe, MC Nelson and Tekla. This project marks an opportunity for that underground to spread further afield and reach the ears of those outside of the city limits. On Southside Park EP, moon blows up the status quo and produces unexpected grooves, not failing to showcase love and knowledge for the digging process.
