Jazzego, from Porto, presents PEDRA and its first EP Karimeen. After successive releases of the highest quality (there’s more to come in 2021), the portuguese label bets on a promising artist who designs a contemplative environment reminiscent of London's avant-garde jazz. PEDRA is a young musician that learned the guitar by himself, integrating numerous rock and metal bands. His desire to delve deeper into different genres, that made him learn how to play drums and progressively explore jazz music, is expressed in this project.

As a producer, PEDRA is part of a new generation of artits that is motivated and self-sufficient enough to take on different sonic trips and to establish surprising connections between them. Jazzego is the perfect place for his work to be showcased, adding yet another project to their discography that reflects a traversal jazz aesthetic. PEDRA takes its influences in its own ways, with the precious help of remixes by Il-Brutto and SaiR, leaving us with a modern and promising project. Karimeen EP is available via Bandcamp.
