prequel: without you

Melbourne-based producer Prequel hops on the Lobster Theremin roster, with an organic EP called Without You. After two successful releases with Rhythm Section International - Freedom Jazz Dance and Polite Strangers - his new 4-tracker delves into natural instrumentation and warm soothing fuzz with an extremely tender and personal vision through sound.

Tender whispers of nostalgia and an enduring sense of solace underpin opener “The Song I Said I'd Make For You“. It is a long journey to the depths of one’s mind, setting the main tones on the EP. There’s true love and touch on Without You. The productions captivate feelings and thoughts wandering in the air. They are absorbed and replaced by some dust lifted by small stomps on the floor. Sombre note on the tail end: “Give Me Things That Don't Get Lost” cuts a lonely figure in the morning mist.

Four tracks for a solo commute, day, journey. Without You becomes available by the end of this week, through Lobster Theremin sub-label - Distant Hawaii
