Boogie Cafe discovered Rob through his X-TRAX projects, sparking a connection that led to the creation of this cool release.

The 614 EP is a deep house masterclass, echoing the soulful sounds of Detroit and Chicago, paying homage to legends like Glen Underground, Ron Trent, and the late Mike Huckaby. In tracks like "Makin Ends Meet" and "We Will Be Here," Rob Redford skillfully blends melodic chords, bouncy basslines, and crisp drums, creating a sonic journey enriched with emotive spoken vocals. The EP's standout, "Factory 2659," transports listeners to early '90s Chicago, evoking the spirit of Glenn Underground with a contemporary twist. Closing the EP, "Rain in July" offers a nod to the early 2000s, infusing a distinctive West London broken vibe.
