Light Headed is SaiR’s new album, released last friday. The multi-instrumentalist and producer from Porto has consistently delivered great modern-funk projects in the past years and Light Headed follows that tone, although exploring more soothing and relaxed textures. Fusing electronic percussion, approaching hip hop compositions, with perfectly synchronized keys, SaiR’s music is simplistic in its elements, but complex in its melodies.

Composed by seven instrumental tracks, Light Headed is a compilation of life events and experiences, recorded under the good sensation of lightheadedness. It is also a modern and futuristic take on jazz music, one that just needs a rhythm playing in the back and the talent and the free-flow-expression of an instrumentalist like SaiR.
