scrimshire: paroxysm

Following Listeners (2019), Believers Vol. 1 (2020) and Nothing Feels Like Everything (2021), Scrimshire is back with another chapter of his musical voyage on Albert’s Favorites imprint. Comprised by 11 tracks, Paroxysm is a powerful collection of songs that were born out of intense emotions stirred by the breakdown in the UK government, the mistreatment of refugees, and the disregard for the struggles of marginalized communities. Having first worked under the developing title Scream, the British producer was able to find a beautiful sonic landscape to channel his anger, sadness, and frustration into these recordings, creating a musical testament to the turmoil of our times.
