Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange has become known for their storming live sets, capturing the energy of dance music across house and more broken vibes whilst retaining their strong jazz funk influence and musicianship levels. Led by the genius drum work of 30/70’s Ziggy Zeitgeist, the collective has released an incredible body of work that we’ve been following closely. Following up on 2021’s Kreuzberg Kix Vol. 1, Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange pair up once again with the Secretsundaze imprint to present Kreuzberg Kix 2.

The EP opens with the lead track “Take Your Time”, which features the distinctive vocals of Wayne Snow, bringing a warm and atmospheric energy to the dance floor. The track is elevated to another level with its driving momentum and Jenifa Mayanja's remix, which keeps the spirit of the original but adds a tougher drum workout and some added sparkle to the synths. The jazzy instrumental “Bleached” showcases the band's musicianship and influences in jazz funk, while still keeping a danceable groove with Ziggy's killer drums and a locked bassline.
