With his debut LP currently in the works, Chris McClenney's voice is one to keep up with. His newest single, “Legacy”, the 2nd off his most recent string of releases (the first being "downforwhatever"). Written by Chris and co-produced with Syk Sense (that has been producing for names like Drake, Khalid, HER or Goldlink), the song addresses themes that speak to many americans, marginalized in their own country.
"Legacy" follows “downforwhatever” (produced and written entirely by McClenney), a heavy low end and groovy downtempo track with sensual R&B flow. He's been in the studio all year, racking up production credits for many artists in the american hip hop/r&b vibrant new scene. Now, Chris McClenney is executing his vision by creating music for a new artist in coming out of that scene — himself. Great expectations for his first full LP, coming soon.
