Cosmic Garden is one of Nico Lahs’ monikers. His latest release Come With Me, via the Bari-based Cosmic Rhythm imprint, comes with four tracks that won’t serve as fillers. The Italian producer (real name Nicholas Loporchio) has been in the house game for a fair number of years, having released a considerable number of reputable EP’s and played memorable sets in some of Europe’s best dancefloors. His discography, both under Nico Lahs or Cosmic Garden and as part of the Rydm Sector duo, is, by now, a magnificent portfolio as he becomes one of Europe’s most important producers in the deep house scene.
Come With Me kicks off with the title track: a blast of energy with reminiscent of classic house textures. This is followed by “Night Traveler”, which is our personal favorite, showcasing the producer’s sensibilities for intricate drum sequences accompanied by a careful selection of keys that makes us feel emotional. The B-side is composed by “Drive Me To The Sun”, which is a progressive and extra deep moment of contemplation; and “The Rydm”, a broken-beat-meets-deep-house skit, in which the Italian slows things down and concludes in style.
