For DJ’s only, the third installment of the Illegal Jazz Series is out via Toy Tonics. Curated by Berlin’s vinyl digging champion Delfonic and Toy Tonics records head honcho Kapote, Illegal Jazz is a project that conveys the energy of the live DJ acts that were heating up the nightlife of Berlin before the pandemic made its way into our lives. Released respectively in January and April of 2020, the two previous volumes were nothing short of amazing. One year later the third volume is faithful to the spirit - making us crave a club night like few records do.
This limited edition vinyl edit series reworks rare jazz and soul tracks for the dancefloor, being originally made only for Delfonic and Kapote’s own DJ sets. With full respect for the original artists, the Illegal Jazz edits are reviving great original music. From time to time some of those drop in vinyl and on Toy Tonics Bandcamp - here we are, grooving to these!
