hentzup: microwaves

Out through underground-hip-hop-house Dezi-Belle, Microwaves EP is Hentzup’s latest project, coming out by the end of last month and following the successful Out of the Blue, released previously in 2018. The chords play slow, distorted, in the sweetest way, preserving samples from other eras on them. Comparing to Out of the Blue, Microwaves goes further on the producer’s palette of influences, delving into dreamish-soundscapes. As we close our eyes we see all the colors in the darkness.
2018 was a year in which we showcased many lo-fi hip hop projects. Hentzup is one of the names we kept close for further moments like this. Microwaves is available in a very limited 7-inch vinyl edition. You can stream or download the entire EP on all digital platforms as well.
