Lars Bartkuhn’s projects always create a certain expectation. His productions, spanning over almost two decades, speak for itself, being played, charted and loved to death by DJ’s around the globe. With five albums and many EP’s, Bartkuhn has an impressive discography, demonstrating a never ending creative flow. Human, via Visions Recordings, is his new EP, containing three perspectives over the same idea.
Deep house music for our soul wrapped with jazzy horns, sparkling pianos and colorful synthesizer sounds around a groove that's two parts shuffling Latin rhythms and three parts jacking house. So we jack… The A-side "Full Experience" version, which clocks in at a 13 minutes jam, is particularly wonderful. That said the Rhodes-laden "Inner Experience" mix, a kind of tech-tinged, piano-heavy deep house dub. Then, the Beat Dub Bonus. Take your time and dive in. Human is out today, but vinyls are running out. Act.
