During August LA-based producer Like (a.k.a. Gabriel Stevenson, a.k.a. Pac Div) released a funky instrumental hip hop album called GABRIEL, through the label Uknowy. Fresh drum patterns with a fusion of diverse sonic influences on every single track, making the record never boring. GABRIEL is a reflection of the producer's musical journey to this point.
Spending his career producing for some of the best artists (Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Anderson Paak.) coming out of the hip hop genre, it is probably on this piece that we get to know Like's genius touch. A touch that we've, unknowingly, admired for so long. Everything is instrumental and detail oriented on GABRIEL. A special version of "My Side Of The Story", featuring Ivan Ave, was released later.
