Little is known about Moondance. His - or her - first EP, Never Found Love, just showed up in Local Talk’s inbox alongside other tracks. The Swedish label was swift, fast, eager to put it out, not hesitating twice to sign all of those tracks. And here it is, from the deeps - Never Found Love by the unknown Moondance.
The EP presents two different shapes of the same music. While the original is a colourful, rich,and jazzy piano driven house track with a vocal to tie it all together, the Amen Break Mix is an off-kilter dub inspired version, sounding like something straight out of a Innerzone Orchestra jam session. Never Found Love is available through Bandcamp - a great way to end Local Talk’s year, supporting independent and unknown artists from all over the place.
