Announced today, the first single from Okvsho’s upcoming new album is a musical journey, up and down the rivers of life. Dropping on September 25th Kamala’s Danz is their second LP coming out via Boyoom, adding more live instrumentation and inviting an array of talented young musicians to their sessions such as Dylan.Negativ, Sreya or Matondo. The title track, above, features some signature sounds by Okvsho and also intruduces us to a much broader range of emotions skillfully and beautifully captured on the entire album.

Following the acclaimed Traphouse Jazz, from 2018, Kamala’s Danz is set to be an essential release for the next fall season. Vinyl and digital formats are now available for pre-orders, via Boyoom. It’s all love.

Hailing from Zurich, the Okvsho brothers developed their sound between tram noises and demonstrations in the epicentre of the city’s music scene. Through classical beatmaking they discovered jazz and fell in love with it. Since then their music has developed into a mixture of classical Dilla-hip-hop, jazz, funk and neo-soul.
