Ross From Friends first project on Flying Lotus' label - Brainfeeder - will be out tomorrow. "Aphelion" is an EP of 4 tracks that drinks from influences of hip hop cut ’n’ paste culture, 80's Eurobeat and charming Italo dancefloor pandemonium. And, again, we are able to sense within a nostalgia for deep-in-the-night hallucinating moments.
We came to know "John Cage" pretty well over the last weeks. Tonight we fall for "There's Hole In My Heart", that was previewed in some legendary sets currently making the rounds. Now, with the details just so present, is time to go a little over the top emotionally.
The vinyl release was sold out quickly. Hopefully there 'll be a few more collection pieces for some night cats out there.
