Workerz is back with another top notch release via Feedasoul Records. Goin' On is a three-tracker certified dancefloor filler with its infectious rhythms, flaring hi-hats, and soulful vocal chops. Drawing inspiration from elements of soul and funk, Workerz provides grooves of his usual caliber - adopting a sensible and mesmerizing use of samples to create a cool and harmonious sonic backdrop. The title-track is a precise example of the above, blending r&b vocal with a funky bassline. Impossible to not stomp to this one.
"Sweetness" takes things deeper with classic deep house drums and rhythms, showcasing Workerz's flair for percussion and movement. The reverb-drenched vocal samples add a touch of atmosphere to this no-nonsense cut, binding the track together seamlessly. On the flip side, "Anthem" takes the tempo up a notch, delivering a straight top-end heavy rhythm section adorned with soulful chords and pads reminiscent of 90's house music. Workerz once again proves his versatility and affinity for crafting a very special trademark of dancefloor music - soulful, intellectual, smooth. Available on Bandcamp.
