workerz: something different

After a string of groovy releases, the French crafstmen Workerz is back on Feedasoul Records with a heavy three-tracker. Something Different follows the amazing Happiness Therapy, released earlier in the year, and cements Workerz as a name to go to when in need of bouncy house grooves.
The EP title-track brings forward driving drums, highly energetic pads laced with lively woodwind sections and rhythmically infectious breaks. On the flip side, “Pretty Little Things” keeps the flow moving with a bumping rhythm, flaring hi-hats and swanky vocal chops. Finally, “A Place For Us” introduces movement-inducing percussion, soulful keys and feel-good vocal jabs supporting Workerz's signature rhythm. Something Different drops, bringing a cheerful vibe with it. Available via Bandcamp.
